E.g John= j(1) + o(6) +h(8)+ n(5) =20 divide by 9 that is 2 remaining 2 , then add one to the remainder =3. In Kabbalah numerology:

There are 4 types or levels of reality, and they are the world of emanation( atziluth), the world of creation( Briah), the world of formation (Yetzirath), the world of action (Asiyah). All these four levels of reality are the same in essence and quality. Each of the sephirah that exist possess distinguishing features, as well as lessons to be understood and mastered. It is noteworthy that the ten Sephirot are the symbolism of the states of consciousness. In addition to this, they act as transformers as we work with them. The tree of life is believed to be connected to heaven and the underworld. The tree of life believes is that everything that happens on earth did not just happen on earth but also has occurred in the world above. It is believed that the world is made up of numbers, letters, and words and it is this 3 that is subdivided into the sephirot to understand the nature of the world. Understanding the 32 paths of wisdom is not Just knowing oneself but to understand the nature of the world but also any other process(energetic, emotional, spiritual, and physical component) which is part of us. The first three spheres of the tree are the supernal spheres and from Keter which is the Hebrew word for one to the Malkuth which is number 9 carries its own values and it also shows knowledge that passes the human understanding and knowledge.
